At Guide, we care deeply about transparency, user safety, and building trust — especially when you're using a tool that can see what's on your screen and help take actions on your behalf. This page outlines how we handle your data and what Guide can (and cannot) access.

What Guide Sees

• Takes screenshots of your desktop (or active window in future versions)
• Sends them to Claude (Anthropic AI) for interpretation
• Simulates mouse and keyboard input to complete tasks

Guide does not record video your screen, log your keystrokes, access your files beyond what can be seen in screenshots, or stream video/audio.

Where That Data Goes

• Screenshots are sent securely to Anthropic’s Claude API
• Anthropic does not train on your data
• Anthropic retain data up to 90 days for abuse monitoring
• Screenshots are not stored by Guide

What We Store

• Your email (for login and subscriptions)
• Subscription status (via Stripe)
• Basic feature usage analytics

Your Rights
